Change your phone number

Overview

If your phone number changes after changing devices or mobile contracts, update the phone number registered to your account.

Make this change while you can still log in on your current device. Once the number has changed, the verification code can no longer be sent to you, so you cannot change it yourself. For the whole device-change process, see Changing to a new device.

1. Tap “Account”

Tap “Account” at the bottom of the app.

2. Open Profile Settings

Tap “Profile Settings”.

3. Change your phone number

Tap “Phone Number”.

Enter your new phone number, then tap “Apply Changes”.

Next, choose how to receive the verification code for your new phone number: by phone call or SMS.

Enter the verification code, then tap “Continue” to complete the change.
