Tag Transactions, Members, Shops, and Admins

Tags let you label transactions, members, shops, and admins with categories that fit your business. Use tags to slice data by axes that the built-in reports do not cover, and to filter lists later.

Typical use cases:

  • Campaign tracking: Tag bonus-point transactions during a limited-time campaign with a label like “Spring Campaign” and measure the impact later.
  • Multi-shop operation: Tag transactions handled by a part-time staff member who works across several shops to track performance per person.
  • Member segmentation: Manage your own ranks such as “VIP”, “Beta Tester”, or “Corporate Account” alongside the built-in attributes.
  • Shop classification: Group shops as “Direct”, “Franchise”, or “Pop-up” to view results by operation style.

Tags are an internal tool for admins and staff. They are not shown in the member-facing app.

Manage the tag list from E-money Settings.

  1. Tap “Menu” in the navigation bar.
  2. Go to “Settings” → “E-money Settings” → “Tags”.
  3. The page shows four sections: “Transaction Tags”, “Member Tags”, “Shop Tags”, and “Admin Tags”.
  4. Tap “Add and Edit Tag” on the section you want to update.
  5. Type a name and press return to add a tag. Tap an existing tag to rename or delete it.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Edit: Renaming a tag updates every transaction, member, shop, or admin already tagged with it. The assignment is preserved.
  • Delete: Deleting a tag removes it from every item it was assigned to. This action cannot be undone.
  • Uniqueness: A name can be used only once within the same tag kind.

Only staff with the “E-money Settings” edit permission can define new tags. Assigning, removing, or browsing existing tags works with any staff role.

Assign Tags to a Transaction, Member, Shop, or Admin

Section titled “Assign Tags to a Transaction, Member, Shop, or Admin”

Add tags from each item’s detail page. Existing tags can be assigned by any staff member.

  • Transaction: “Menu” → “Transactions” → select a transaction → “Tags”.
  • Member: “Menu” → “Members” → select a member → “Tags”.
  • Shop: “Menu” → “Shops” → select a shop → “Tags”.
  • Admin: “Menu” → “Admins” → select an admin → “Tags”.

Use “Tap to search tag…” to pick an existing tag. Creating a brand-new tag from this screen requires the “E-money Settings” edit permission.

Each list page supports filtering by tag.

  • Transaction list, Member list, Shop list, and Admin list all expose “Filter by Tag” in their filter UI. You can select multiple tags at once.
  • Example: Extract only the transactions tagged “Spring Campaign” to aggregate the campaign’s sales.

  • Tags are a staff-side categorization tool and are never exposed in the member app.
  • You can tag a transaction after it has been completed.
  • A tag name is limited to 48 characters.
  • Data exports (CSV / Excel) include a “Tags” column with the assigned tag names.
