Change Member Information

Overview

You can change a member’s registered information when their phone number or email address has changed.

This includes information used for login, such as phone number and email address.

ℹ️ When should I use this?

• Use this when the member asks to change their information.
• Use this when the member cannot log in because their phone number or email address has changed.
• You can also use it to change a display name registered from a social account to the member’s real name, with the member’s consent.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Enter a phone number or email address that can receive verification. This feature changes phone numbers and email addresses without the member completing verification. Check for typos and enter information that can reliably receive a verification code.
• Always verify the member’s identity. Ask the member to present identity documents or use another reliable identity check.
• We recommend handling this in person. Identity verification may be difficult by phone or online.
• Be careful of fraud. A malicious person may impersonate a member to take their balance.

Change Member Information

Follow these steps to change member information.

1. Tap “Menu” in the navigation bar.
2. Tap “Admin”.
3. Tap “Advanced Features”.
4. Tap “Change Member Information”.
5. Review the feature description and notes, then tap “Continue”.
6. Select the member whose information you want to change.
7. Enter the information to change.
   1. Member name
   2. Email address
   3. Phone number
8. Review the confirmation screen.
   1. Member whose information will be changed
   2. Updated information, such as member name, email address, and phone number
9. Tap “Change Information”.
