Register and Log In with an External Account

Overview

You can simplify registration and login authentication for Pokepay for Shops by using an external account such as a Google account or LINE account.

Available External Accounts

As of April 2026, the following external accounts can be used.

• Apple ID, available only on iOS and iPadOS
• Google account
• LINE account

Register with an External Account

1. Open the Pokepay website.
2. From “Try the demo”, select the external account you want to use.
3. Follow the external account authentication screen to continue registration.
4. Download the app, then enter the code shown in the email from “Enter Invitation Code”.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete registration.

Add an External Account Login Method

1. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the Home screen, then select “Switch e-money”.
2. Tap the three-dot menu for the account, meaning the email address, where you want to add a login method.
3. Select “Login Settings”.
4. Select “Add Login Method”.
5. Follow the external account authentication screen to complete setup.

Unlink an External Account Login

1. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the Home screen, then select “Switch e-money”.
2. Tap the three-dot menu for the account, meaning the email address, where you want to manage login methods.
3. Select “Login Settings”.
4. Select the account you want to unlink.
5. Select “Unlink”.

Note About LINE Accounts

If no email address is registered to the LINE account, registration cannot continue.
