Point Rebate: What Is the Truncation Amount?

In Point Rebate, the “Set rebate rate (%)” method includes an option for setting a Truncation amount.

Use this setting when you want to rebate a fixed percentage, but only in fixed amount ranges or above a specific amount.

If you do not want to use a fixed rebate rate, set the Point Rebate method to “Step settings”.

By setting a Truncation amount, you can configure Point Rebate by fixed amount ranges.

For example, if you set a 10% rebate and set the Truncation amount to “1,000 coin”, the rebate can work as follows.

💡 Setting: “10% Point Rebate / Truncation amount 1,000 coin”

1 coin to 999 coin: No rebate

1,000 coin to 1,999 coin: 100 Points rebated

2,000 coin to 2,999 coin: 200 Points rebated

This setting can also be combined with “Minimum amount” for Point Rebate.

If you add a Minimum amount of “5,000 coin” to the setting above, the rebate works as follows.

💡 Setting: “10% Point Rebate / Truncation amount 1,000 coin / Minimum amount 5,000 coin”

1 coin to 4,999 coin: No rebate

5,000 coin to 5,999 coin: 500 Points rebated

6,000 coin to 6,999 coin: 600 Points rebated
