Create Manual Remote Transactions
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Manual Payment and Charge lets you create payment or charge transactions by selecting a member directly, without scanning the member’s QR code.
Use this feature when you need to create a transaction without face-to-face interaction. A notification is sent to the member after the transaction is completed.
ℹ️ Use this feature in cases such as:
- You want to deposit e-money collected through another system as a charge.
- You need to manually deduct a member balance without face-to-face interaction.
- You need to handle a missed or forgotten payment.
- You need to correct a transaction after canceling an original charge or payment that used the wrong amount.
⚠️ Important notes:
- Payment transactions: Always obtain the member’s consent before performing this operation. Pocket Change Inc. assumes no responsibility for issues arising from use of this feature.
- Charge transactions: A Manual Charge creates paid balance. Make sure you have received consideration for the balance created by this transaction.
- Point Rebate: Point Rebates for payments or charges are not applied automatically. Only the specified transaction is created directly. If you also need to reward points, enable the point reward option.
- Permissions: For security, only the owner or admins with the required permissions can use this feature.
About Charge Transactions
Section titled “About Charge Transactions”A Manual Charge directly adds paid balance to the member’s balance.
About Payment Transactions
Section titled “About Payment Transactions”A Manual Payment directly deducts the amount from the member’s balance.
Create a Manual Payment or Charge
Section titled “Create a Manual Payment or Charge”You can create a manual transaction with the following steps.
- Tap “Menu” in the navigation bar.
- Tap “Admin”.
- Tap “Advanced Features”.
- Tap “Manual Payment and Charge”.
- Review the feature description and important notes, then tap “Continue”.
- Select the target member.
- Select the transaction type, either Payment or Charge.
- Enter the amount.
- Adjust the point settings if needed.
- Turn on “Consume point on payment” to use points for the payment.
- Turn on “Reward points” to reward points together with the transaction.
- Check the member’s available balance.
- Tap “Next”.
- Select the shop.
- Edit the notification message if needed.
- Tap “Continue”.
- Review the transaction details on the confirmation screen.

- Message, if entered
- Tap “Finalize Transaction”.
⚠️ Final check before finalizing:
The transaction is finalized immediately. Explain the transaction to the member and obtain consent before finalizing it.
