Learn About Printable QR Codes

Overview

You can print a QR code to display at your shop.

Display it near the register so members can scan it and pay.

This QR code can be used for shop payment transactions. It does not support charge transactions.

If the QR code is printed too small, the member app may not be able to scan it. We recommend printing the QR code at least 2 cm square.

Print the QR Code

First, open the payment code creation screen.

• Tap “Menu” -> “Shops” -> select the shop -> “Create Pay Code”.

On the creation screen, choose the kind of payment code.

• Member enters the amount: issue a code that lets the member enter the amount to pay. Tapping it lets you choose “Create Printable QR Code” (opens the preview) or “Copy Link”.
• Preset the payment amount: issue a code that lets the member pay the preset amount (see below).

The printable data is created in postcard size.

Print it with your printer or at a nearby convenience store.

Print with a Printer

1. Tap “Save” on the printable QR code preview screen.
2. Tap “Print” in the share menu.
3. Set the paper size to “Postcard” and print it with your printer.

Print at 7-Eleven

1. Preparation: Download and open the Easy netprint app.
2. Tap “Save” on the printable QR code preview screen.
3. Tap “Easy netprint” in the share menu.

The Easy netprint app opens automatically.

1. Set the paper size to postcard.
2. Tap “Register”.
3. Enter the print reservation number on the in-store multi-copy machine and print it.

Print at FamilyMart, Lawson, or Poplar

1. Preparation: Download Network Print and complete registration.
2. Tap “Save” on the printable QR code preview screen.
3. Tap “Network Print” in the share menu.
4. Tap “Register” in the dialog.

The Network Print app opens automatically.

1. Tap “Register as postcard print”.
2. Set printing to original size.
3. Tap “Register”.
4. Print it from the in-store multi-copy machine.

Fixed-Amount QR Code

For payments with a decided price, such as entry fees or fixed-price items, a fixed-amount QR code is convenient: the member pays the shown amount as is, without typing it, which removes input mistakes.

Choose “Preset the payment amount” on the creation screen to set the following. Tap the amount and label rows to enter them.

• Amount (required): the amount the member pays.
• Label (optional, up to 25 characters): what the payment is for, such as “Entry fee”. It is recorded as the transaction’s admin memo, visible in the transaction list and the CSV export.
• Transaction tags (optional, up to 5): tags assigned to the transaction automatically, usable for filtering and reporting.

When you are done, tap “Create Printable QR Code” (opens the preview) or “Copy Link”. The amount and label are also printed on the postcard.

A fixed-amount QR code cannot be changed after printing. To change the amount, create and print a new one.

Note: if you lower the per-transaction payment limit later, QR codes created with a larger amount stop working. Create new QR codes in that case.

How Members Use the QR Code

This QR code is scanned by members when they purchase products or services.

After displaying the QR code at the shop, ask the member to complete the payment with the following steps.

Member operation

1. Tap the QR code icon in the member app.
2. Tap “Scan” at the bottom. If the camera permission screen appears, allow camera access.
3. Scan the QR code displayed at the shop.
4. Enter the amount, show the screen to shop staff, and tap “Pay”. With a fixed-amount QR code, the amount is shown already filled in.
5. The payment is completed.
