Service Termination and Account Deletion
Overview
Section titled “Overview”If you want to end provision of your e-money because your Shop is closing, your business is ending, or for a similar reason, follow the steps below.
You can stop the service and completely delete the e-money.
Service Termination: E-Money Being Provided to Members
Section titled “Service Termination: E-Money Being Provided to Members”If there are members with valid balance, you cannot terminate the service immediately. This is to protect member rights. Follow the steps below to provide refunds.
1. Configure Refund of Unused Balance
Section titled “1. Configure Refund of Unused Balance”First, configure refund of unused balance with the following steps.
Refund Settings
Tap Menu > Admin > “E-money Service Termination”.
Set the refund start date and end date.
📅 The refund period can be set from 60 to 365 days.

Check the notes and start the refund period.
2. Send Announcement Email to Members
Section titled “2. Send Announcement Email to Members”When refund settings are complete, an announcement email is automatically sent to members.
The announcement email includes the following information.

3. Start of the Refund Period
Section titled “3. Start of the Refund Period”The refund period starts at the timing configured in step 1.

4. Stop New Registration and Charge Features
Section titled “4. Stop New Registration and Charge Features”When the refund period starts, new member registration and charge features stop.
Payment operations remain available.
5. End of Service Provision
Section titled “5. End of Service Provision”When the refund period ends, service provision ends.
Members can no longer access the e-money app.
6. Completely Delete the E-Money
Section titled “6. Completely Delete the E-Money”When service provision ends, you can completely delete the e-money.
This operation deletes all data related to the e-money created with Pokepay.
Tap the “Completely delete e-money” button on the Home screen and follow the on-screen instructions to delete the e-money. After deletion is complete, you can no longer export or check various information. Decide carefully before deleting.
⚠️ Even after refunds end, fees continue to be charged until the e-money is completely deleted. This is because Pokepay continues to store the data.
After exporting the necessary data, we recommend completely deleting the e-money promptly using the steps above.
When the e-money is completely deleted, billing stops.
Service Termination: E-Money in Demo Mode
Section titled “Service Termination: E-Money in Demo Mode”In Demo Mode, transactions using actual money cannot be made.
For that reason, you can terminate the service immediately. Follow the steps below.
- Tap Menu > Admin > E-money Service Termination.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to terminate the service.
Account Deletion
Section titled “Account Deletion”After service termination, you can delete the login account with the following steps.
- Tap ”︙” on the Home screen, then tap “Switch e-money”.
- Tap ”︙” to the right of the email address for the account you want to delete.
- Tap “Delete account”.
⚠️ If there is another e-money that can be logged in to with the same email address, the account cannot be deleted.
